Mindfulness Coach

Wendy Ronovech, M.A., M.Ed., CMP

My goal is to help you flourish using powerful, evidence-based mindfulness practices.  If you are seeking peace and purpose in both your personal and professional life I can help you achieve this.  I offer one-on-one sessions teaching skills that help gain clarity, handle stress, develop self-compassion and sharpen essential leadership qualities.  We focus on the discovery of self, involving awareness of one’s inner thought patterns.  I can help you cultivate skills that enhance your capacity for emotional well-being and spur positive life changes.  The experiential exercises focusing on your thoughts, emotions, and sensations allow you to move from an anxious state into one of calmness and awareness.

I’ve spent twenty years in the healthcare field dedicating myself helping others live a healthier lifestyle. My passion is having an impact on peoples’ health and their daily well-being.  I’ve chosen the field of Mindfulness-Based Interventions and instruct both groups and individuals in various health care, university, business, and community settings.  I’m an enthusiastic spokesperson for well-being and recognized as thought leader in the fields of organizational development, health promotion, and mindfulness-based programs.  I hold an undergraduate degree in Healthcare Administration, Master’s degree in Health Education with a focus in Health Promotion, a Master’s Degree in the study of Industrial and Organizational Psychology with a focus in Human Resources as well as qualifications in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) from the University San Diego School of Integrative Medicine, Center for Mindfulness.

I believe mindfulness is the key for individual and organizational well-being.  My professional experience has been at the forefront of design, development, marketing, and management of UnitedHealthcare’s Disease Management, Health Education & Wellness and MBSR/MSC programs.  Additionally, I’ve instructed courses at The Caring Place (Cancer foundation of Nevada), College of Southern Nevada (CSN), University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and acted as a consultant for major corporations.  My continuous meditation practice and application of mindfulness teachings has offered insights and awareness to live a most authentic life and this has sparked my desire to share this amazing gift with others, leading to my partnership with the Healing with Grace Counseling Center.

The practice of mindfulness leads to a deeper organic relationship between body and mind.  The teachings show how to live more consciously, to live in the state of being instead of doing and gain insights to transform your life as you fully experience each moment.  Science is beginning to catch up with mindfulness, as a number of studies show how meditation and mindfulness can help rewire, reshape and mold the brain. This can improve our physical and emotional health, decrease anxiety and depression and even protect the brain from dementia. To schedule your first session with me, call or text our Counseling Center at (702) 716-0908 or click on the "Appointment Request" tab above.

Personal Testimonies

"Amie, thank you  so much for all of your help this year with your nutrition tips. It has been wonderful to see the improvements, not only to my health but my self-esteem. I really appreciate you." - Andrea C.

"Amie has actually changed our lives. My husband and I have been seeing her for some time now and she has taught us so much about nutrition. She has suggested cook books and given us recipes that are healthy, taste really good, and we actually enjoy the food. Amie is smart, fun, caring, and with her help, we are reaching out healthy goals. Thanks Amie!" - Debra T.

"Amie has been a successful and strategic part in the overall development of our physical and health well being! I urge anyone looking to enhance theirs to contact her!" - Mike T.

"I met with Amie the end of December. She gave me great information on how to nourish my body and avoid foods that cause inflammation/stress. I enjoy eating salads but I noticed I was getting stomach aches. She gave me recipes of salad dressings I could make. She taught me how to search for dressings. She taught me how to read labels. I have never enjoyed cooking meals that have more than 4 ingredients. Amie did not try to change me, she just directed me to easy meal prep and easy meal planning. My stomach does not ache anymore. I am enjoying cooking and my family is enjoying meal time. Best of all, I lost 11 pounds in 1 month. Thank you Amie." - Christina B.
