Hi, my name is Jericho Samatra and I am a Clinical Professional Counseling - Student. I am currently attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in order to pursue a M.S. Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am passionate about helping individuals master their competency for life skills and capacity for resiliency. I like to approach counseling with a holistic lens as I believe everyone has their own unique phenomenological experience. In addition, I believe the client is the expert of their own life, and my goal as a therapist is to create a safe environment in which the client feels understood and ready to resist any hardship. 

 

I work with children, adults, families, and I have experience working with individuals with trauma. Moreover, in my work, I strive to build a collaborative therapeutic relationship in order to let my clients have agency and control over their lives. Outside the therapeutic setting, I absolutely love watching anime and reading manga. In addition, I enjoy watching films, making music, playing video games and sports, and taking pictures on my Polaroid camera.

Rates

$60 per session for children, individual, couples and families

Insurance

I am considered an out of network provider and can give you a superbill (receipt) to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. If you have PPO/POS insurance, your services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have out of network mental health coverage?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Payment

​​Cash, check and all major credit cards accepted for payment.

Cancellation Policy

  • A minimum of 24-hour notice is required

  • Late cancellations and no-shows: 100% of the session fee

  • Payment for missed sessions is due prior to the next appointment
