Arisa May Blanco

Clinical Professional Counselor - Intern

Arisa May Blanco

Aloha! I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Intern with a passion for supporting

individuals and families through life’s challenges. I have several years of experience working

with children and teens with neurodevelopmental differences, including Autism Spectrum

Disorder and ADHD. I also work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, identity concerns,

and life transitions. While my background is rooted in working with youth, I welcome individuals

of all ages into the therapeutic space.

Born and raised in Hawai‘i, my therapeutic work is deeply grounded in the values I grew up with.

Aloha is more than a greeting—it's a way of being that centers compassion, connection, and

presence. I carry with me Mālama (to care for and protect), Kuleana (shared responsibility), and

Ho‘omana (empowerment) into each session. These values shape a space where clients feel

supported, respected, and encouraged to grow at their own pace.

Together, we’ll build a relationship rooted in trust, cultural humility, and mutual respect—working

toward your goals with intention and heart.

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

Cancellation Policy

To ensure we make the best use of our time, we kindly ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule our meeting, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us both to adjust our schedules accordingly and ensures that we can continue to provide the best service possible.

To avoid being charged the full session fee, please ensure to provide a 24-hour notice for cancellations. After the initial session, your therapist allows one (1) free missed session per year without the 24-hour notice.
